This week we read, The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid Of Anything. On Monday, we worked on our coloring with fine point markers. There were a lot of pieces!!!! After we colored, we glued the parts together to create our SCARECROWS.
Tuesday was our field trip to Hermanson's Pumpkin Farm! There was soooo much to do. We reviewed how a pumpkin grows with Farmer Ferrell. It was just like we learned in class. There were all kinds of animals and we even were able to feed the goats leaves. We also saw goldfish, kittens, chickens, rabbits, donkeys, lamas, a calf and a pig. We went through the spooky barn maze and had a wagon ride.
Wednesday we read Wild Things, then we cut a shape for our wild thing, glued on eyes, nose and mouth and colored them. I hope you enjoyed them!
To finish up the week we made a book to help retell the story of The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything.
