More Goldilocks and the Three Bears

This week was even more Bear Fun!  We started the week celebrating Mickeys birthday with ears and singing.  We worked on coloring in the lines, colors, shapes and bear positions; in, on, in front, behind, on top, next to, beside, etc.  These are hard concepts! 

Bed time bear had many steps!!!  Watercolor, cut, glue... and we talked about hibernation.

Wednesday we had to retell the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears using pictures.  This is difficult to sequence in time.  What happens first, next, next and last.  We colored, cut and glued these story sequences.

Thursday was finally pajama day.  It was certainly a gloomy day so it was fitting to be in comfy clothes.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

We are BEARY excited about our week.  We are reading many versions of the the fairy tale and comparing and contrasting them.  We are talking about the title of books being on the front. Stories that start with, "Once upon a time," are fairy tales and they are not true or made up stories.

There are some great safety learning opportunities in these fairy tales.  We don't talk to strangers or go in  strangers houses, and we never go out windows, unless there is a fire.  Just like the fire fighters taught us during fire safety week.

Music & Abiyoyo

Musical and some more magic of Abiyoyo.  YES, we start learning our holiday songs so we can sing them for you on December 19th, 5:30 pm, at St. Joseph's Church, lower level.  4Kers made their person book for the month on Monday.  Patterned our jingle bells so we can play them for you at the holiday concert.  Hope you enjoyed our magic calming sensory bottles.  Finished up the week on Thursday with our rectangles.  Here are some pictures of the week, hope you enjoy them.

The Magic of Halloween

A magical week of bravery, magic and Halloween. We did some magic, made magic wands study the triangle shape and celebrated with a costume party.
