Friendship Week

Monday we created a quilt square with a picture of things friends can do.

Tuesday we made friendships bracelets using beads. We then we exchanged the bracelets with our classmates.

We enjoyed a fun game of friendship bingo on Wednesday. The bingo cards had pictures of all our 4K friends. We are going to play this game again sometime...maybe on another 5 day week.

 

Thursday we created our own minions and talked about how there are a “Minion” ways to be a good friend.

 

We had a special friendship fun day on Friday! We played fun games on the Smartboard, did some new dancing activities and had extra free-play time.

Valentine's Week

Monday we made a pattern with hearts and Wednesday we made a collage with different sized, colored, and shaped hearts. These are displayed in our classroom.

We made a special valentine for you on Tuesday. Each one is completely unique and made with love. :) It's in your child's red folder.

We had a great time on Thursday passing out our Valentine’s to each other. Everyone’s mailboxes were decorated so wonderfully!

Our Week was the Opposite of Long

Monday we had a surprise day off. Unfortunately, we will have to make this day up too. It has been scheduled for Friday, June 5th.

Tuesday we created a ground hog puppet. A day late but still fun! We did our project on Wednesday while laying on our bellies on the floor. It takes a lot of muscles to hold ourselves up and glue/write. We sorted opposite pictures into day & night categories.

Thursday we made our February page for our Person Books. We also made an opposite matching game if we had extra time.

We also had fun playing in the snow this week.

Royal Fun!

We enjoyed being royal this week. Monday we read about The Knight and the Dragon and created a dragon of our own. We painted on bubble wrap and “stamped” our dragons onto it to give them awesome texture.

Tuesday we watercolor painted a picture of a knight and then we painted a picture of a royal scene. On Wednesday we made fancy crowns.

We wrapped up the week on Thursday with our Royal Tea Party that we dressed up in royal attire.

We had delicious chicken nuggets for our party just like the Knight and the Dragon cooked together. We also created a castle picture frame and put in a photo of ourselves in royal clothing. You can see more photos on our photo gallery page.
