Wild Animals at the Zoo

 We are wild about 4K and learning about different animals.  It has been a "roaring" good time!

Here we made our water color STRIPED tigers and showed off our slow sloths

If a picture is worth  a 1000 words than I better let you see all the hard work learning through our centers going on here!

Our beautiful giraffes.  Do you know they have blackish/purplish tongues?  Did you know humans have 7 bones in their neck?  How many does a giraffe have?  Scroll down for answer

Giraffe's have 7 bones in their neck too!  Just longer and bigger than humans. (these are hanging in our room)

Peacocks were so fun to make!  We used coffee filters, colored with markers than sprayed with water and watched the colors blend.  We really liked this!!

Spring in the Meadow with The Three Billy Goats Gruff

The Three Billy Goats Gruff

 Trip, trap, trippity, trap!  We have had a fun week learning about The Three Billy Goats Gruff and the grumpy old troll who lives under the bridge.  There are some great versions of Billy Goats Gruff on youtube.  Next week we will be talking about the meadow they went to, the flowers, planting, gardens and spring.
