Snow Much Fun

Well, there wasn't much snow this week, but it sounds like it is coming... Make sure you have all your snow clothes for Monday.  Waterproof mittens may be a good idea or a couple pairs of the knit kind to change into when one gets wet. 
We've have been enjoying hearing all about your winter breaks.  You had lots of fun it sounds like.
On Wednesday, we built a snowman.  We cut a small, medium and big circle, then glued and colored the details.  They are hanging up in our classroom.  Here are the pictures of them....

Mat man was also created this week for our month of January.  We can't wait to see all these finished books, they can be used as a keepsake or enjoy looking at them this summer.

The class is really working hard on letters and letter sounds.  this week we focused on T and I.  We colored with markers and crayons to create books that we can review over summer for 5K or big kindergarten. 

We have some great pictures of friends learning while exploring the classroom.  We are constantly working on colors, shapes, sizes, spacial relations, fine motor strength building, categorizing.  There are so many things we learn while we are doing centers.
