Zoo Fun or 5K Tour Fun

Zoo much fun!  We started our week with Pink Flamingos.  We colored, cut and glued.  Don't forget all our fine motor bending of our flamingo legs.

A ROARING good time was had by all creating our lion faces.  Again, we color cut, then we curled our lion manes.

Lastly we painted stripes on our zebras we sent home on Thursday after our 5K tours.   They weren't quite dry enough to send home on Wednesday.

The highlight of the week was the 5K tours and of course, the bus ride!!  We toured the whole building, office, nurse's office, art, music, gym, cafeteria, library, computers, and STEM.   Enjoyed playing outside and learned playground safety.  We also sat in on a 5K classroom.  Heard a story, asked questions about 5K and the BIG school, met teachers and played with the 5Ker's.
Some of us appear to like the bus more than others.  LOL!

Into Insects

This week we learned about insects.  That they have 3 body parts and 6 legs.  We enjoyed finishing up our Mother's Day gifts.  We hope you enjoyed them.  Here are some of the great photos we took.  Hope you received your graduation portrait order form.

                                                             Some more tent fun!
The kids made their own beauty shop one day, Little Mermaid style with forks as combs and what ever else they could find in  the kitchen area.  So we added a beauty shop and boy has it been busy!

A Camping We Will GO!

We set up our campsite in the dramatic play area!  It's fun to roast our marshmallows, dress up, cook and just sit around the campfire. Monday we made paper tents and sorted items to in the tent and things that stay outside.
May started beautifully, and we really enjoyed our time outside.  Tuesday, we finished our last page in our books we have been working on all year.  At, graduation books will be given out and you get to be amazed at all their work.

Campers talked about the night sky, and created a picture drawing stars and gluing on googly eyes.  Hope you saw them come home in their backpacks.

Thursday we colored our fire wood on our bellies and painted the fire with marshmallows.  These were still wet so we will bring them home on Monday!
