Stop, Drop, and Read About Our Week

This week we talked about fire safety. We started the week with a "fire drill" here at school, ask your child where our safe meeting place is (It's outside by the mailbox). We also put a lot of focus on the phrase "Get Out and Stay Out" instead of Stop, Drop, and Roll. If the kids take anything away from this week, we want it to be that they should get out of the fire quickly. Our projects this week required a lot of fine motor skills, we did some painting, coloring, and even cutting! On Wednesday the local fire dept. came to visit us.
