Just for the ART of it

This week the students created art projects for out Art Show.  It will be held on March 2nd - March 13 (in the am it will come down).  This will take place at the Edgerton Community Hospital, with a gallery opening, on Monday, March 2nd from 5-6.  The art may be viewed though anytime the hospital is open.

We drew self portraits, watercolored, created paper sculptures, tissue paper art and wire & bead sculptures.

Friendship and Valentines

What a lovable group of  kiddos.  We made many projects.  We started with collages.  An art term that we will use next week for our art week.

We created our Valentine Surprises for our families.  Hope the made it home okay.  The teachers packed backpacks on Thursday to help out. The backgrounds for our Valentines are our black and white opposite paintings we did last week.

Thank you all for your hard work with the Valentine Mailboxes.  We love seeing all your creativity with them.

We really have made some fantastic 4K friendships.  It has been so nice to see all the growth and development in all areas!!!

We had a great week of opposite concepts.  We worked really hard on all our projects but the Friendship mailing center was a hit.

 Here we glued heart on our porcupines.  We read a story about A Porcupine Named Fluffy.  That is how we got to our topic about opposites.  Fluffy makes friends with a rhino, who ends up being named Hippo.
