A Beary fun week. We started reading may a variety of versions of the classic, Goldilocks and the Three Bears. We have been comparing and contrasting the stories. We made large jointed bears that the legs even move on,
and they are decorating our classroom. We had more tummy time work,
this is hard to hold my head and neck up, while laying down. But man
this builds core strength. Lots of fun was had retelling the stories of
Goldilocks. We also worked on sizing our bears into large, medium and
small categories.

Little Red Hen
This was a whirl wind short week. I read about, The Little Red Hen. We talked about helping others and being kind. For snack, we enjoyed fresh baked bread as friends do. It was warm and yummy and went great with our snackers fruit.
Tuesday we focused on what we are thankful for. The kiddos created turkeys and I wrote for them what they were thankful for. I hope you get to hang them up and share them for Thanksgiving.

Music & Movement
A great week! Monday we patterned jingle bells to use for our Holiday Sing. We started practicing songs that we can't wait to perform for you.
Egg maracas were fun to create and make music with on Wednesday, since we didn't have 4K on Tuesday.

Thursday we created drums. Hope you enjoy all the musical instruments. We are going to perform with some class instruments at the holiday sing. We also made Mickey Mouse ears for Mickey's 90th birthday. If you take a picture of your kiddo in their ears and post with #ShareYourEars, $5 will go to the Make A Wish foundation.

Magic of Abiyoyo
It was a magical week of fun! We learned about an African Folk Tale called Abiyoyo. It is about magic, music and understanding. I even performed several magic tricks.
On Monday, the we strung small beads on chenille sticks, then wrapped the beaded wires around sticks to create magic wands.
Tuesday, we painted Abiyoyo, the giant from the story.
Pulling a rabbit out of our magic hat was our fun for Wednesday. I hope you 4K student performed the trick for you with the hat and rabbit they created.
We finished the week by creating magical sensory bottles. We were scientists, measuring and pouring our formulas together to create these calming bottles.
