Me and My Friends

What a  super week!  We have had 4K for an entire month already.  My how the time flies.  Monday we traced our hands and used bingo dobbers to decorate them to  created a class poster about friendship.  We can't wait for you to see it at the Open House on Wednesday, October 3, from 5-6:30. 


On Tuesday we colored and cut straight line to link together a class friendship chain, also decorating our room.

Wednesday was picture day and playing with our friends.  Taking turns, cleaning up and putting things where they belong on the shelves.  It was a nice day, since our cheeks were a little sore from our great big SMILES.


Thursday we colored, and glued super hero heads with masks and the are hung out by our cubbies.  We of course did this dressed up as SUPER 4K'ers.  It has been an incredible month of learning and can't wait to keep moving forward with all our learning. Hope you enjoy our Super pictures.

This week was all about ME!  We watercolor painted our names, each of us made a page in our class book, created a face to look like us and on our Friday Fun day of school we had our school spirit for Homecoming.

This week we talked about our families, learned more about our friends and ourselves.  When drawing pictures of our families we started the discussion of body parts, how many we have of them and where they are located and what they are used for.

Next week, we learn the "Mat Man" song that really helps us in identifying parts, where they are located and how many.  I can't wait for your kiddo to come home and sing it for you!

Welcome to 4K

It was a great first week!  The kiddos are really picking up the routine.  I am so proud of the hard work.  We are working on recognizing our names, lining up to take turns, waiting our turn and using our words to ask for what we need.
