Spring & Southwest

Last week we talked about spring. We made an adorable boot & umbrella project using markers and bingo daubers. They are so colorful and unique!
Next we had a couple 3D project-a rainbow for St. Patty's Day and cute little baby birds made from plastic eggs, snuggled in a nest.
We wrapped up spring week with a contact and tissue paper kite.

These are displayed in our front entryway.

This week our room is filled with Southwest fun. Including horses that we can actually ride!!!

Have a safe & wonderful spring break! We will see you on TUESDAY, April 7th!

A Community of Helpers

We had more community fun in our classroom this week! We continued to enjoy constructing in our science and discovery area and we now have a doctor/veterinarian area as well.

On Tuesday we made a an x-ray of our hand. These are on display in our classroom.
We made a tooth brushing sequence on Wednesday and talked about going to the dentist and how we need to brush our teeth morning and night.

Thursday we filed community helper books onto the bookshelf because we were librarians. We even have a Smartboard version to practice our sorting skills.

We wrapped up the week with our Career Dress Up Day. Check out all our professionals below:
