Garden Center & Cowyboy Fun

We had such a fun week this week! We had not one, but two special events! We enjoyed a trip to the K&W Greenery in Janesville on Wednesday. There are lots of pictures on our Photo Gallery page. We learned that plants need soil, water and sun. Of course, our favorite part of the trip was feeding the fish!!!

Thursday we wrapped up our Southwest Unit with a Cowboy Dress-Up Day. We have a slide show of each of the individual cowboy/cowgirls on the Photo Gallery Page. But you can view the group photos below.

Please have a safe & happy spring break! Remember that we will be returning to class on Tuesday, April 22nd.

Our Southwest unit is a lot of fun!  We are galloping, mosying, trotting, yee-hawing, giddyuping and talking about snakes, javelinas, coyotes, and cacti.

We painted a cactus on Monday using forks! These are hanging in our hallway to add to the desert-like atmosphere.  We made horses by tearing paper on Tuesday.

We designed our own cowboy boot on Wednesday. It was so much fun to see the unique creations. These are decorating our classroom now and the ducks flew home :)

Wanted Posters of each of us were created on Thursday and they went home in your child's red folder.

If you haven't sent back your child's permission slip for the K&W Greenery Trip, please return it on Monday.
