Spooky Fun

Crazy fun week.  School on Monday, we practiced patterns with Spookley the Square Pumpkin and friends.  Tuesday, was a day off for kids, but a huge thanks to all for making it to conferences.  Then, back again on Wednesday for our Hermanson's Pumpkin Patch trip.  Check out all the fun we had!  Thank you to our chaperones for helping us out.  Ended our week with our circle book page.  We are creating another book like our color book, We will finish it up in November and bring it home.

Spookley Day-Family Outreach

Thank you all who came to decorate pumpkins and create scarecrows.

Fire Safety Week

We learned a lot about fire safety this week.  Enjoy all the great pictures of the week.

Are your smoke detectors working—check monthly!
-What is an emergency? When to dial 9-1-1
=Have fire extinguishers available
- Crawl on the ground, smoke rises
- Have a meeting place outside where you can meet
safely. Practice your plan.
- Close before you doze
- NEVER play with fire, matches, or lighters
- NEVER EVER, hide from fire fighters! YELL, I am HERE.

Apples & More Harvesting

Another wonderful week!  We had dramatic play apple pie making in our housekeeping area and apple harvesting in our market.  Enjoy our pictures of pattern practice.  We are working on 3 part patterns.   Also, some apple stamp painting.  Check out the apple of your eye with our "stained glass" apples we made.  They are decorating all our windows.

Also, I made a few mistakes on the show and tell, and color/shape bag, so we will have a few days of doubled up jobs.
